Stonewall Hideaway East gets it's name from the stone walls around the
property. The house is nestled into a hillside with terraced lawns
surrounding it. A gentle sloped lawn gives a great view of the lake.
Inside, a stone fireplace carries the theme into the living room in
addition to the wood paneled walls. The kitchen is fully equipped. Two bedrooms and
a rollaway
give sleeping space for seven persons. Beautiful breezes off the lake
keep the lake pleasurable.
The sandy beach, in clear view of the cabin, allows kids and adults to
have a great time in the water. Grand Portage Lake offers plenty of space for water
sports like skiing and tubing, not to mention fishing. A rowboat is
provided with the rental for your lazy rowing around the lake to explore
it's shorelines.
For winter sport enthusiasts, the snowmobile/ATV trail is across the
road. Cross country ski trails are abundant throughout the area.

this duo gives each group privacy and space but still close to each other.
